Candice Methe - Opening Reception

Join us for the opening reception of Candice Methe’s solo show, exhibiting her newest work on Friday, November 6th. Candice Methe’s sculptural ceramics feel at once ancient and deeply personal, as though they have been carried forward from another time. Built slowly by hand, her vessels and figures retain the subtle irregularities of touch, giving each form a quiet individuality and unmistakable presence. Restrained surfaces and softened contours invite close looking, revealing work shaped as much by intuition and memory as by the traditions of the vessel.
